Week 5 — The plants, like your pets, are getting more attention (silver linings???)

COVID-19 sucks. I hope you have found something that is helping you cope a bit. If not, may I suggest starting some seeds and drinking some whiskey.

Week 5 was, um, strange. I went from nervous about travel and plant neglect to worried about over-loving and over-watering. I diluted some apple cider vinegar this week and treated a white mold issue. I replanted three sugar snap peas. And every night, we I set up chairs so I can look at my plants, find some peace, and drink some whiskey. I highly recommend it.

At the end of the video I give a sneak peak at our raised beds. We’ll be starting the garden build out next weekend! A load of dirt is getting ordered as we speak.


The bag of lettuces = happiness. Will it all equate to just a handful of salads? Yes. Was it worth it then? Absolutely yes.
